FAQ

1. When can I begin my class?

After submitting an application form the office or the respective tutors will contact you no later than a week before commencement of the new term.

2. Can I submit an application form after the term has started?

Yes but you will not be guaranteed a space. Places will depend on availability of classes.

3. On what days are classes held?

Classes are held Mondays to Fridays from 3 pm to 8 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 4 pm. Classes can be held at other times by arrangement.

4. How often will I have a class?

Students registered for both practical and musicianship classes usually have class twice a week, one day for practical classes and one day for musicianship. Sometimes your practical and musicianship can fall on the same day. Students registered for musicianship or practical alone will have classes once a week.

5. Is there an age limit for registration?

Two years upwards. Very young children should be accompanied by their parents during class.

6. How long will it take me to learn an instrument?

This is wholly dependent on the student’s ability, available practice time and application to his/her studies.

7. Will I do any exams?

The school has its own internal exams done at the end of every term but students can take external exams from ABRSM upon recommendation by their tutor.

8. What is your payment policy?

Students are expected to pay their fees in full before commencement of classes.
